Moving Equipment In (and all the hardware that comes with it...)

Things are starting to feel very real. We have been doing "regualar" building renovations for a couple months, and still have many things to do like water filtration, leaky roofs, and trying to make the exterior not look like a crappy corner store. But...we are slowly introducing our stored equipment into the space. Much of this equipment was purchased over the last year and stored outside. This equipment was orignally purchased to be included in the final brew pub location. However, some of these pieces will fit and be usable in our pilot location in the mean time.

We spent half the day yesterday moving six pieces from our covered storage location on South Street to the brewery space. Fred (Matt's Brother) was super helpful with tractor and trailer to help move the vessels from A to B. With stainless vessels also comes lots and lots of hardware. Daren has been busy planning plumbing drawings and inventory mock ups of all the hardware we might need to get the water from the source to the kettle, to get the beer chilled, and to get all the coolant lines where they need to go. We have had to purchase many valves, fittings and hoses to bring this all to fruition. We are excited for next week. We will be receiving the chiller and the 1.5 BBL SABCO Pilot System. Time to get brewing beer!

Fred is pretty handy with the New Holland
The trailer loaded up with the vessels for the pilot space
"Ted" a 7 BBL Fermenter (from Green Empire) makes it way to the pilot space
Too tall for the door, so we put it on its side, but how do we get it up?!
Now for cleaning and organizing

Deciding how we will stack our horizontal tanks...
Will there be enough room?
